About Natalie Truman
Über Natalie Truman
I accompany many events in the capital, in other regions and abroad.
The change of places, music genres and languages always allows me to put familiar things into a different perspective which gives me new ideas for different interpretations of my music.
I was able to deepen my early training in classical singing in my hometown Berlin at the “Universität der Künste”. I also sing chansons, pop songs or jazz standards in my repertoire. I’ve never been able to make a clean choice between classical and pop. In music, for me, there is no either-or, but only the full spectrum of genres.
It’s my pleasure to be able to inspire young people for opera music with my singing and, vice versa classical opera lovers for the grooves and beats of modern music as well. As with people and languages, a multifaceted beauty only establishes via music through diversity and contrasts.
